The problem

A snow-plowing contractor ran a 10-truck fleet on phone calls and paper. Mid-storm, the office could not see which properties had been plowed, crews did not hear about changes, and invoices waited until the snow melted. Snow Ops shows the whole storm on one screen: every truck, every property, and every check-in.

What I built
  1. 01

Engineered the platform end to end (dispatch board, offline-first crew app, and server-verified GPS check-ins), now serving a team of 10.

  2. 02

Delivered 32 user-facing features, including a real-time storm board, a 3D route map on MapLibre GL and OpenStreetMap, a route builder that minimizes added driving, an offline sync queue, and automated invoicing.

  3. 03

Integrated 4 outside services: QuickBooks, Google Sheets, National Weather Service data, and push notifications.

  4. 04

Wrote the proposal that won the contract.
